The only surviving community opera company between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware, Lancaster boasts one of the very few non-profit, all-volunteer opera companies in America.   For more than half a century, the Lancaster Opera Company has presented some of the finest vocal talent the region has to offer. First Friday
